Best Pizza is a favorite menu item for many here in Oceanside. It is popular with children, as it is with adults.
Which place has the best cheese pizza in Fresno, CA, USA?
There are quite a few places in Fresno to buy pizza. scabs. few places have this kind of selections as well as different types of sauces for your Best Pizza, and i can’t forget the toppings, so many excellent toppings as well as toppings that others don’t have…. Also have vegan and gluten free if you like these…
Mikes Pizzeria has been around for a long time, it’s on shields and the west where I grew up. It has a bar that you can eat in our restaurant.. lots of celebrities have eaten there and the pizza is still one of the best, if not the best pizza place in Fresno…
DiCiccos has the best calizones (hope I spelled it right) in Fresno, there are a few in Fresno that the whole family owes, and the pizzas they make actually give Mikes and run for their money. .
As for the regular chain pizza restaurants that have been around for a long time in Fresno, I’d have to defer to Ed’s pizza place…all of them are really good but the one in the tower area is by far the best for me. and eating is just something about the pizza which is great…
If you want delivery, any Me n Ed’s is really good. The Dominos Brooklyn style Best Pizza is one of my favorites. then I would recommend Papa Murphys take and bake. they delivered…
Depends on what you really like.. my grandma was born in Italy but passed away since 04 and her pizzas were always the best.. nothing like a real homemade pizza to quench pizza cravings..
if I left out any pizzerias in Fresno, it’s because they’re not worth mentioning. bring back the 80s and the greatest pizzeria ever! ! There used to be a pizzeria called Luigi’s on Blackstone north of Shaw and it’s still to this day the best Italian/Sicilian pizza and food I’ve ever had, not to mention the greatest scenery I’ve ever had.
I have never seen in a pizzeria like in this restaurant. Luigis looked like an authentic Goodfellas with an ambience and style not found in a pizzeria these days! there were a few saltwater tanks in the walls as well as large tanks spaced here and there throughout the restaurant and we always had our own little table which we always sat at since my grandparents knew the owners of Luigi.
We always sat right under one of the aquariums built into the walls. I loved watching the softshell turtles swim by while I stuffed my face with cheese pizza and fettuccine Alfredo, the good old days. even today, every time I pass by where Luigi was, I think of memories spent with my grandparents. there’s a black bear dinner there now where Luigi was once upon a time…
So the next time you vacation in this third-largest city in San Diego County, California, stick to some select pizzerias.
Here is my list of the best pizzerias in Oceanside, CA:
1. Blade 1936
Fancy an authentic Napoletana pizza? Seagaze Drive Restaurant Pie is the answer. This is not your typical cookie cutter pizzeria. Blade 1936 is a member of the Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana (AVPN).
As a result, the restaurant’s pizza has AVPN certification to indicate that it meets traditional Napoletana pizza standards. Oceanside’s Blade 1936 cooks its Napoletana pizza in a custom wood-fired Stefano Ferrara brick oven at 900 degrees for 55 seconds.
Their ingredients are locally sourced and are pretty much the same as Italian ingredients. The Blade 1936 menu also offers vegan and gluten-free options for weight watchers. Are you planning a corporate, private dinner? Don’t worry! The Blade 1936 has two private dining rooms for your special occasions. A private wine room that seats approximately 60 people is also available.

Their traditional, artisan brick-oven, and Detroit-style deep-dish Best Pizza are a cut above the rest. They create their brick oven pizzas using a Morello Forni brick oven imported from Italy.
The 2-foot Big Benito pizza is the shop’s signature party Best Pizza . It features 20-foot-long slices and is a great option for larger groups. 4. Spirito’s Italian Diner
This pizzeria may be tucked away in a strip mall, but the dishes here don’t disappoint. Owner Mike Spirito maintains his family recipes throughout the year. Their signature Napoletana pizza, “monster” ravioli and Roman meatballs, made with pine nuts and raisins, are incredibly delicious.
Special dishes from the pizzeria include spaghetti with original Spirito sauce and a meatball. Spaghetti and sauce make an absolute Best Pizza companion. On August 12, 2013, Spirito’s Italian Diner was featured on Diners, Drive-ins and Dives with Guy Fieri. So it’s obvious that this is not your ordinary pizzeria. Order their thin crust pizza and ravioli to die for!

5. Big Bob’s Pizza
There’s a reason customers have been raving about Big Bob’s Italian cuisine since 2011. This joint creates traditional “old fashioned” Best Pizza using the finest ingredients. Here, pizza making begins with homemade, hand-made dough. Then the original Neapolitan sauce recipe follows suit. And finally, the chefs at Big Bob launch their distinctive blend of three kinds of cheese.
Once everything is done, it’s now up to you to say what you want. Are they spicy meats? Or is it fresh vegetables and fruits? Or do you need their combination? Just mention it and it will be created just for you! For the moment, Big Bob is open for delivery and take-out. Consider ordering your pizza with Fresh Garden Salad.
